Ahmad Khaldun Ismail

Dr. Khaldun is an Associate Professor and Consultant Emergency Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre. He is the Founding Consultant&Advisor of the Remote Envenomation Consultancy Services (RECS ASEAN) and Founding Director of the ASEAN Marine animals & Snakes Envenoming (Poisoning) Management (AMSEM) symposium. He was the President of the Malaysian Society (MST) on Toxinology (2013-2021) and a Review Advisor for the WHO Snakebite Envenoming Working Group (2018-2019). His special interests are in Clinical Toxinology, Emergency Medicine and Prehospital Care. He has developed and organized various educational programs related to Clinical Toxinology for the public and healthcare professionals. He is passionate about teaching and provide talks in Malaysia and Internationally. He holds the authorship of several academic publications in related area of interests. He enjoys travelling, nature, swimming, and good coffee/tea.
