PhD in Immunology from Venezuela. Currently a postdoctoral researcher in the National Natural Toxins Research Center at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, in the United States.
Current work includes the innate immune response towards snake venoms and the crosstalk between inflammation and hemostasis in experimental models of snakebite envenomings.
